Hi Amino All Cleanser

As someone with extremely sensitive skin and who's just beginning to put a skincare routine together, this cleanser absolutely comes in clutch. It's gentle on my skin and leaves it feeling refreshed. After using it daily for about a month, my skin has become toned and visibly clearer.

First of all, when you read Hi Amino, then see the hexagon with Amino Acid just below the title, you may think this is a very strong product and not for sensitive or normal skin. When you also see 'Apple Wash' on the package you may think of apple cider vinegar and be like, "😬Scary." That's what I thought but I bought it anyway because I'm the only one who could tell if a product works for me or not. Also because of the cost since it was affordable(it was on sale when I bought it end last year) and I would not feel bad if it failed me.

The first time I used this cleanser I did not like it because I thought it was too harsh on my skin (which is mainly dry, but gets oily with hormonal acne), so I started using it on other parts of my body because I am a huge repurposing ambassador(if you spend money on a product you don't think is working, repurpose it!). I was right to think that it was harsh because it's not like I had a serious skincare routine before, so my face obviously found this foreign-or so I believed. However, while using it on other parts of my body, it was not harsh and I therefore needed to investigate why. What I found in over four months of using it was that the reason it felt harsh on my face was because I would apply a serum immediately after instead of a moisturizer first. When I switched to cleanser, moisturizer then serum I did not feel the harshness at all. On other parts of my body, I would moisturize after using it. Problem solved. The lesson here is that maybe the reason a product is not working as you would want it to is because you are skipping a step like me.

Does it clean? Yes it does. Scent? Minimal and that's good because imagine being very sensitive to smell and your cleanser is loaded with a heavy scent.

I like this cleanser because I do not have time to start sitting with micellear water or makeup remover wipes then using a cleanser. This cleanser does those in one step unless you have near permanent or long lasting makeup on(for instance if you use matte setting sprays). Because my choice of makeup is the long lasting type, I cleanse twice. The reason makeup is still on my eyes is because I am extremely short sighted so my vision makes everything look even and I fail to rub the cleanser better, so please don't judge the cleanser. Also, I like products with durable packaging. This product has not faded at all, the writing is still on and I always clean the foundation stains I get on it when cleansing yet the print still stays! Another reason I like this cleanser is because of the color. Since it's white you can see it change color when you wash your face(like in my video, it turns brown to show that the makeup is coming off!).

Because of this cleansers functionality, you save on money and time since you don't need to buy different products to remove makeup then cleanse. Also, you don't have to move from your dresser to your bathroom and who has the energy after a long day to start doing so much with different products just to clean their face? Not me. I totally recommend this cleanser if you are just getting into skincare. There is a smaller version of this cleanser which you can also get if you want to just test the waters.
